Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 21, 2025, and join us in the Village of Matteson for the 1911 Initiative 5K Scholarship Run/Walk! This event is more than a race—it’s a chance to help us raise funds for scholarships, mentorships, and PAID internships for our college-bound students.

All Are Welcome!
Whether you’re running, walking, or volunteering, everyone can make a difference. After the race, enjoy post-run fun with live music, a concert stage, a beer tent, food vendors, and Stretch Lab’s free stretch demos and consultations. All participants receive a commemorative shirt, race bib, finisher medal, and sponsor swag.

Participate from anywhere as a Virtual Runner and get a race packet mailed to you with a T-shirt, race bib, and a special gift. Complete your 5K on your schedule while supporting this impactful cause.
