As we gear up to embrace the summer together, we set out as we do each year, to improve the situations of students and people in our communities. We created this space to party with a purpose in order to do whatever we can to donate funds and/or resources to those headed off to make their marks onto the world and in doing so, make all our lives better!
Our goal this year is to raise $5,000 to create a special scholarship for our Chicago college-bound students headed to an HBCU.
This year’s event will be a one-of-a-kind experience that you definitely do not want to miss. We are collaborating with key community service partners and local black owned businesses such as Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey, Moor’s Brewing, Playpen Premium Vodka, Lovejoy Bloody Mary Mix. Food donated by: The Retro Grill on Stony, Bronzeville Soul Restaurants, , and Majani Soulful Vegan Restaurant just to name a few. With your help, this year’s event will surpass all the others and be a night to remember.
We are kicking things off from 3-11pm with a Live Jazz Band, Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey Cigar Lounge, 5 of Chicago’s best Djs, Free food, open bar all night, Ravinia Style seating; and much, much more. Band starts promptly at 6pm. Dinner served at 5:30pm
