The 2025 1911 Initiative 5K Scholarship Run/Walk was a true movement—over 400 runners and 600+ supporters showed up at the post run party and turned the Village of Matteson into a celebration of Music, education, community, and impact.
Now, we’re calling on Chicago runners, walkers, and changemakers to do it even bigger in 2026.
